At the January Board of Directors meeting, the Board was made aware that the US Postal Service is unwilling to deliver mail to mailboxes with locking mailbox inserts.
The management office was able to connect with the one of the supervisor of mail carriers and indicated the necessity of locking mailbox inserts. Scott agreed to have regular and official mail (certified, priority mail, etc.) inserted into the locking mailbox inserts; all other mail (junk mail, coupons, magazines, etc.) will be placed on top of the inserts. It is important that you collect your mail daily; Scott indicated this was a contributing factor to delivering mail in the locking inserts.
In the event you encounter a mail carrier unwilling to deliver your mail into your insert, please email the details to the management office (date & your address to email@example.com
) for follow up with Scott.
